Speed Typing

In order for us to be challenge in speed typing, we practiced to type a little bit faster. We went to the speedtest10-fast-fingers.com, it is a also a way of practicing. This also serve as our quiz or maybe practical exam. If you got 31 there your already passed but 84% only. But, i only got 30 there. Just better luck next time for me. At least a little bit, I improve my typing skills.

Typing Skills

Typing is my favorite topic in TLE, but I am not very fast in typing. At first, it was very hard for me to type a little bit faster than I know. When we talk about the techniques in typing, I learned to improve my typing skills. In typing skills; the very important technique is to have a good posture, if possible you must not look at the keyboard. Beside from that, your 10 fingers has each corresponding letters. If you memorize the letters that your fingers corresponds it, you would be a good, fast and skilled typing master. Just practice and practice until you can be as good as others to type.

"Reflection of being an Entrepreneur"

Entrepreneur was our first lesson in TLE. The first time I heared it, I was not interested. I thought it was just for being a successful. But when Ma'am Cathy started telling/ teaching us about it, little by little I can get already the exact meaning of being an entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur is very important to people who want to be successful person. To be a successful entrepreneur, you must have the personal entrepreneur characteristics that we call the PEC's. It is divided into three (3) clusters; Achievement, Planning and Power Clusters. Few characteristics under this clusters are; Goal-Setting, Oppurtunity Seeking, Persistence, Commitment to the Work Contract, Risk taking,and Demand for Quality and Efficiency. I learned all of this by listening attentively to our teacher.

My Reflection about Entrepreneur

Our first lesson in TLE is about an entrepreneur. Entrepreneur is a person who possesses idea for a business venture & who manages and accepts financial risk. Successful entrepreneurs are people who accomplish things. They have what psychologist call the "need to achieve". Achievers rate high opportunity-seeking, commitment to the work contract, persistence, risk-taking, and demand for quality and efficiency. These are under Achievement Cluster. An entrepreneur does not plunge into a business on the basis of inspiration. Going into business is the result of deliberate goal-setting, tireless information-seeking, and systemic planning and monitoring by the entrepreneur. The personal motto of a successful entrepreneur is "I can". He is decisive and believes in his power. The Power Cluster consists the persuasion, networking, and self-confidence. I have learned all of these by listening attentively if the teacher is discussing the lesson.       

My Freshmen Life

I was excited to go to school in the first day of classes. I was expecting of many things ; like new friends, new teachers and maybe new enemies. But I hope that I will not have enemies as I have last grade-school years. I am also curious about my grades. I will do my best to maintain it so i can finish my studies here in Naga City Science High School. I am still expecting many things to encounter in my freshmen life. But still, I will enjoy being a freshmen in this school......
